Curtis Granderson, also known as "Grandy" by his most beloved fans is a New York Yankee. Granderson was acquired in a trade from the Detroit Tigers during the 2009 offseason to help the New York Yankees defend their World Series championship in 2010 and years to come. Granderson is a hard nosed tough-as-nails centerfielder who can hit for power, average, steal bases and is a defensive stud in the outfield as evidenced by his best season in 2007 which saw his him .302 with 23 HR, 74 RBI, 122 Runs and steal 26 bases, to go along with his .989 fielding percentage and 10 outfield assists. The essence of a 5-tool player, Granderson will to be roaming centerfield at Yankee Stadium for years to come.
