The Mannings are the first family of football. The patriarch is Archie Manning who made his mark as the quarterback at Ole Miss where he threw for 4753 yards and 56 touchdowns. He later spent 13 years in the NFL playing for the Saints Oilers and Vikings. Two of his sons have done pretty well at the game too. Peyton Manning's accomplishments are staggering. A Pro Bowl choice every year since he stepped onto a NFL field in 1998 Manning set a NFL single-season record in 2004 with 49 touchdown passes and has thrown for nearly 40000 regular-season yards in his career. Manning raised the bar even higher in 2006 when he led the Indianapolis Colts to the Super Bowl Championship and won SB MVP honors. Eli Manning has forged his own reputation setting or tying 47 school records at Mississippi and leading the New York Giants to Super Bowl glory in SB XLII.
